We develop a dual-laser Brillouin optical correlation-domain reflectometry configuration for high-speed distributed strain measurement. High-speed Brillouin gain spectrum (BGS) acquisition is achieved by optical frequency sweeping of an independently controlled reference laser, enabling time-domain BGS observation without frequency sweeping of an electrical spectrum analyzer. Distributed strain measurement is demonstrated along a 3.5 m long fiber under test. Strain is measured at 100 sensing points with a repetition rate of 10 Hz and a BGS acquisition rate of 1 kHz. The proposed method has no theoretical limitation on strain dynamic range and preserves constant spatial resolution while reducing system complexity.
