The Mizuno Group initiated its explaration of sensing photonics at Yokohama National University (YNU) in April, 2020. Our focus is on the development of distributed fiber-optic sensing and correlation-domain LiDAR technology for structural health monitoring. We are affiliated with (1) the Faculty of Engineering, (2) the Department of Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Graduate School of Engineering Science, and (3) the Education Program for Electrical and Computer Engineering, College of Engineering Science), YNU.
